B2S Collection Part 2

Happy Sunday! This week’s blog is part two of three blog series about our August Collection: “B2S.” This part of the collection we took used stamps to create some pretty cool key chains and necklaces.

We are pretty excited about how cute these turned out! We found some cool stamps that we used! We found these stamps while we were antique shopping earlier this summer. These would be super cute to have on your lanyard! They would also be a great way to show love to teachers and would make excellent gifts.

We mixed the resin together. The resin comes in two parts: a resin and a hardener. We mix it at a 1:1 ratio measured by volume, meaning it requires equal amounts of both resin and hardener. Mixing the resin and hardener together creates a chemical reaction, transforming them from a liquid into a solid. Then I poured a little resin into each mold. I added the glitter into the resin. While we wait for the resin, dip the stamp in coconut oil, so the resin doesn’t mess with the design. An hour later, we added the stamps into the glitter resin mix. Then I filled the molds the rest of the way up! I used the heat gun to draw some of the bubbles out. These will need to dry for at least 24 hours. Then we pop them out of the molds and sand the rough edges. Lastly, I attached a jump ring to work as the hook the pendant and then attach another ring to attach them to a key ring and a few of them into necklaces.

I hope you check it out! Keep a watch for next week’s B2S video about making Earrings! If you get a chance, leave a comment telling us what you think!!
